Disclaimer: After having met the good people at Pro Eagle I maintained a connection with them and ultimatly that lead to finally being helped with getting a Jack. I have not yet seen other jacks that are similar to the Pro Eagle so I have limited knowledge of other brands in the same product space. This is an honest review of what they offer and how I use it. Youtube Overview
Here you will find a video version of the overview of the Pro Eagle 2 ton jack. I go through its different parts and some possible attachments and pieces you can get for it.
Whats the Big Deal?
Honestly, this is a great question. Why is this jack the one everyone for some reason raves about? Well, in my honest opintion there are a couple key reasons why this jack is different. If you have seen the video or not this jack comes with a couple different things. Phenominal build quality, great company assistance from Pro Eagle, and lastly quality. This 2 ton jack is well made, sturdy even with the weight of a jeep on it, and versatile.
Is this Jack worth it?
Listen, we all know these jacks are not the cheapest with a price point of $300+. But after using this jack for a good while now, I get why it is what it is. The jack comes with some assembly required. The wheels and accessory mount come loose in box and need to be simply bolted on. Once you acomplish that, you are ready to roll. I always say that I am no expert, and thats very true. I do what I can on my jeep to make sure it is atleast up to its next adventure and some easy maintenence items. This jack allows me to do that with ease. From checking clearances to relacing worn parts, this jack helps the every day offroader get things done!
Now, are there other companies and brands that sell similar items. Yes, but there will always be competitors. However, Pro Eagle gives its customers, reliability, performance, versatility, and personality. They also back their stuff, so much so that some think they are bashing others, when in reality they are just gloating about the phenominal craftsmanship they put into their products. I only have their 2 ton jack but based on how it has done for me, I plan on getting their others so that I can have one in my jeep for any trip and one at home for every other need. I 1,000% recommend Pro Eagle to anyone I talk with because they are yet again another company who cares about YOU as a offroader, rather than making a buck. Its easy of use is exactly what you need when you are out on the trails or in the garage.
